One bowl for cold and warm
The strength of these bowls is the PE coating. That layer makes the cardboard resistant to dressing, soup and warm rice, without the bowl going soft or leaking. So the same bowl works for a fresh poke bowl at noon and a warm ramen or soup in the evening. The 16 oz soup bowl has a PP lid that handles heat; the salad bowls get a crystal-clear PET lid that shows the contents.
That transparent lid matters more than it seems. In a refrigerated display a bowl sells itself on colour: the customer sees salmon, avocado and edamame before reading any label. Your logo around the bowl completes the presentation.
Five sizes, from side dish to meal bowl
The 550 cc is the size for a side dish or small lunch salad. The 750 cc is the standard for a full poke or salad as a meal. The 1,000 cc and 38 oz are meal bowls for large portions, sharing or family-size concepts. The 16 oz soup bowl covers soup, yogurt with granola and warm desserts.
Each size comes with matching lids in the same box, so you never order bowls and lids separately. The counts per box are fixed, from 500 soup bowls to 100 large bowls, so you can plan stock and purchasing tightly.
A print that runs all the way around
A bowl has no front. On a table, in the display and in a photo it always sits slightly turned, which is why we print the design all around in full-colour CMYK. A continuous pattern or a logo repeated three times works better than one large logo that may happen to face backwards.
Also think about the top rim in your design. That narrow strip stays visible with the lid on, so a colour accent or your name on that rim keeps your brand in view, even on a closed bowl in the delivery bag. We advise on the layout before the print proof arrives.
